How Do Electrostatic Filters Work?
Air-Care permanent filters economically replace the disposable filters that are used in central air systems, furnaces, and air conditioners. Airborne pollutants such as dust, dander, and pollen are trapped in electrostatically-charged fibers. The fibers are cleaned by hosing off the filter on the same schedule that you would typically change your disposable filter.
Self-Charging
Electrostatic air filters clean the air by using safe, natural static electricity. The air that flows through a maze of static-prone fibers generates a charge which causes airborne particles to be attracted to the fibers of the filtration material where they will be held until released by washing.

ElectraSilver 1/2″, 1″, 2″
The ElectraSilver filter has a single piece, roll-formed steel frame with a durable and attractive finish.
All ElectraSilver filters are available in depths of 1/2″, 1″, or 2″ and sizes between 8″ – 30″ in length and 8″ – 24″ in width. The 2″ filters provide 94% arrestance while the 1/2″ and 1″ filters provide 88% arrestance.

ElectraFlex 1/4″
ElectraFlex frames are available for applications where a rigid frame cannot be used because the filter must be twisted or bent in order to be installed.
All ElectraFlex filters are 1/4″ deep and are available in sizes between 8″ – 30″ in length and 8″ – 24″ in width. These filters provide either 88% or 94% arrestance of dust. Anti-microbial and anti-UV layers are found in the 94% option.

ElectraSilver 3″ to 6-5/8″
Thicker ElectraSilver frames are an economical replacement for Honeywell, Trion, Lennox,Aprilaire, SpaceGard, Goodman, Bryant/Carrier, Purolater, and other AC furnaces or air conditioners.
